CHIMNEY INSPECTION
Boiler room compliance test is requested by gas distribution companies such as IGDAŞ for boilers running on gas fuel and by affiliated municipalities for boilers running on solid or liquid fuel.

The controls are aimed to prevent any prospective pecuniary and non-pecuniary loss.

Chimney Inspection:
• Has a separate uptake been made for each boiler and central heating boiler in compliance with their standard?
• Are the solid and liquid fuel uptakes made of filled brick (plastered inside) or fire bricks, and gas fueled boiler uptakes of material resistant to heat and condensation effects?
• Is there a cleaning hatch at the bottom of the uptakes?
• The uptakes should be as perpendicular as possible; is a single deviation permitted to horizontal at an angle of at least 60°?
• Are insulation materials in compliance with TS 901 used in the uptake and smoke channels?
• Has necessary measures been taken in the uptakes of tall buildings for expansion and self-bearing of the uptake?
• Are the uptakes constructed in a way not to be affected by the nearby buildings and obstacles?
and observations about similar matters should be presented as a report.
