PPE Certification for Category II Products
According to EU 2016/435 Personal Protective Equipment regulation the Products falling in the category II shall first complete the EU Type Examination Certification process. The Products certified according to the Annex V of the regulation shall be manufactured by implementing an internal production control system by the manufacturer. The responsibility of successful implementation of the internal production control resides with the manufacturer.
The PPE’s shall be marked with CE mark without Notified Body identification Number. The manufacturer shall keep internal production control records for 10 years and be able to share with the authorities upon request.
